We are happy to announce that we will be having the Fort Vallonia Days parade on Saturday, October 18th , 2025 at 1:00 p.m. sharp.

The parade starts at the north end of town. There will be people directing you where to go.
Please plan to arrive by 11:00 am in order to allow time to get the parade in order. Vehicles not in
the parade will not be permitted to remain parked in the parade assembly area. Free parking is

available just off the highway behind the parade assembly area.

All units, except for marching bands will be prejudged in the assembly area. Judging will begin at
11:30am. Winners will be announced during the parade. Trophies will be awarded to 1 st and 2 nd
place in each category. Awards will be distributed during the parade at the reviewing stand.
During the parade, please try to maintain a distance of atleast 20 feet behind the preceding unit.
Please try to avoid long gaps in the parade. Throwing candy is allowed during the parade. After
disbanding at the south end of town, do not walk back through the parade route while the parade is in progress.

For political units, Fort Vallonia Days allows only one unit per party per level of government. For
example, there will be only one unit for all county Democrats and one unit for all county Republicans.
